 To ensure that all our guests have a peaceful and enjoyable experience, we ask that you kindly adhere to the following rules during your stay. These guidelines help us maintain the beauty of our surroundings and ensure the safety and comfort of everyone. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. We prioritize the safety, well-being, and satisfaction of our guests. Our policies have been designed with these values in mind, ensuring that your stay is not only memorable but also seamless. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our policies to make the most of your visit.

ANGELS VALLEY RIVER LODGE RULES:

Cardholder, ID/Passport must be sent via email before entering our property.
Check in time strictly 14h00 and check out 10h00 (Early and late check in/out will be charged accordingly).
We have a 20 km gravel road so only high clearance vehicles. Please make sure about the weather before bookings, as our roads may become accessible only via 4x4 when raining.
A R1000 refundable breakage deposit is required when making a booking. (Breakage deposit will be paid back 7-14 days after check out).
When driving on our gravel/dirt road please follow our Angels valley signs and not the GPS as it will take you on an undrivable road. If the instructions are not followed recovery its on your account.
We only have Solar power please take note that no hair dryers, fans or any of your own appliances may be used.
We are self catering. Cleaning services can be arranged at an extra charge. We do sell wood and ice and a few essentials. Our closest shop is in Balmoral about 18km from our farm.

The owners and staff cannot be held liable for any injury, damage, or theft arising from any cause whatsoever on these premises.

NO UNAUTHORISED ENTRY
Right of admission reserved. The right is reserved to order any guest off the premises who renders him/herself guilty of violating any of the general rules regarding accommodation and utilization of facilities or of any indecent or any other form of misconduct WITHOUT any refund on prepaid accommodation.
- Any Guest causing loss or damages to any fixed or movable property of shall be liable to reimburse the lodge for any loss or damage.

PLEASE KEEP ALL GATES CLOSED AT ALL TIMES!!!!!!!!!

SPEED LIMIT:10kph

DAY VISITORS
Day visitors are only allowed from 8h00 to 18h00.
Only allowed if the arrangement has been made with management.

OTHER ACCOMMODATION
Strictly no guest is allowed anywhere near any of our other accommodation. Please respect other guest privacy. Campers are not allowed to use any of our facilities or amenities of our self catering units. This includes appliances, gas, electricity, and any other resources within the units. We kindly ask that campers prepare their own meals at their camp sites.

FISHING
Catch and release only.
Please do not leave any fishing line lying around.
Please tidy fishing spots before leaving.

FIRE
Fire is and remains the biggest risk. Please ensure that the last people to leave the boma make sure the fire is properly put out. Use designated areas to braai. No open fires allowed anywhere else.

SMOKING
NO SMOKING IN ANY OF OUR HOUSES/TENTS.

GENERAL
- Please use water sparingly
- No loud music
- No Excessive Alcohol use
- Silence after 21h00
- No pets allowed
- Treat fellow Guests and staff with respect at all times.
- Please take responsibility for Children and minors staying with you.
- Guests and day visitors are not permitted to remove or move around and displace any fittings, furnishings, fixtures or furniture unless authorized by prior arrangement.
- Please keep our grounds and hiking routes clean and free from cigarette butts.
- Please don’t damage any plants or vegetation.
- No trees may be broken neither may any wood be taken from the farm.
- No hunting of any kind of animal allowed. No feeding of any animal, Please keep belongings and food out of reach for wild animals.
- No use of any kind of fire arms, pellet guns, paintball guns.
- Please switch of all lights and close doors and windows when leaving your chalet.
- No glass bottles or glasses allowed in river.
- Do not litter.
Please, one broken bottle in swimming areas and that area is unsafe for all future visitors.
Don’t hesitate to consult with our staff or manager if assistance is needed.

BREAKAGE DEPOSIT
When will we deduct from your breakage deposit:
-Any damaged items
-Any missing items
-Stained laundry (that requires spot treatment, soaking or multiple washing)
-Damaged laundry
- Breaking of rules
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to make a booking . The outstanding amount is payable a week (7 days) before arrival. The invoice payment WILL BE CALCULATED ON FINAL NUMBER OF PEOPLE
CONFIRMED BY PERSON WHO MADE THE BOOKING 10 days prior to booking and not on the number of people attending. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Booking changes & date amendments will be dealt with an equivalent to cancellations. We respectfully request guests not to put us in this position. We HATE to be unkind, but unfortunately, have to be strict as per the standard SA accommodation cancellation policy. As we are a small but popular company high in demand, we constantly show potential guests away, thus losing income when bookings should be cancelled, postponed or amended. Should you be unable to fulfil your booking, you are welcome to inform us that you will be sending someone else to our place.

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL
100% charged for a total reserved period, including booking postponements or amendments - no refund. No Booking postponements will be accepted regrettably. No Refunds after arrival will be considered whatsoever for whatever unforeseen circumstance or disgruntle or dissatisfied issue and guests will be responsible for the total booking amount as well as all extras of the entire booked period.
